Taylored Expressions' August Release...Boo!

Happy Thursday Fabulous Crafters and Scrappers!

Wow! It feels like forever since we last shared our love of paper crafting together. Taylored Expressions enjoyed a little summer respite during the month of July, but we are back and ready to craft the remaining summer months away with you! Yeah!

I hope you have being enjoying this week's sneak peeks and wonderful crafty inspiration. Today, I am sharing with you a Halloween card using the Critters in Costume (stamp and dies) and the Haunted Cutting Plate. Can you believe I wrote, Halloween? Well it is right around the corner, and now we as crafters can be ahead of the game. =)

I just adore this card, those little critters are too cute to be scary. To create this card, I die cut the Halloween scene using the Haunted Cutting Plate in Oreo and then cut it apart to piece together the background scene. The great thing about cutting plates is that you are only limited by your imagination. Next, I inked a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Sugar Cube cardstock using Taylored Expressions' Jelly Donut, Candy Corn and Lemon Meringue dye inks to create my colorful background. The playful Halloween critters were first stamped on Copic-friendly paper, then colored and die cut. A sentiment from the stamp set, "Boo," says it all. You weren't scared, right?

Thank you for stopping by today for a little crafty inspiration, however, the fun is not over. Stop by the Taylored Expressions Blog for more information on this month's release and a full line up of participating designers. You will be glad you did =)

Happy Crafting,

Keia
