Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1: Take Life One Load At A Time...Ride The Wave

Happy Monday Taylored Expressions Friends,

I hope your day is off to a great start. And what better way is there to start the week, but with a little crafty goodness? Right? Today, I am sharing a cute little addition to the Little Bits die collection, Little Bits Laundry Basket, and Sitting Pretty and Sitting Pretty Accessories.

Life can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, right? And then to add a pile of laundry, well it really makes you want to throw your hands in the air. I thought this card would be a ray of encouragement as we tackle situations in life and in the laundry room. To create this card, I used the Little Bits - Clothing Confetti die and die cut the clothing from Strawberry Milkshake, Sprinkles, Sugar Cube, Granny Smith, Lavender Glaze and Potato Chip cardstock. I loosely created a wave and then used liquid adhesive to adhere the clothes onto an Oreo A2 card base. Next, I used my MISTI to help me center my sentiment and then heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. The "Ride The Wave" sentiment was created using the Mini Caps Alphas & #s dies. The finishing touch was adding the Little Bits - Laundry Basket.

The second card features the Sitting Pretty and Sitting Pretty Accessories dies. The dies mirror the gallery walls we probably have in our own homes.

I created this card using a few Taylored Expressions favorites, Sit & Chat and Build A Scene Nursery, in addition to the Sitting Pretty collection. I started by choosing a spring color palette and fun polka dot paper from Carta Bella's It's A Girl collection for my die cut pieces. The background was created using Mint Julep ink and Clarity Stencil Brushes, combined with TE's Bead Board embossing folder to model the look of wainscoting. I adore wall art, and this sentiment is from Proverbs 31 Ministries. I really like the intent behind the sentiment "Live Loved." I hope we all live our lives knowing we are cherished and loved. Once everything was die cut, it was time to assemble the scene.

Well, that is it for me today. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I hope you enjoy viewing the rest of the amazing designs from the Taylored Expressions Creative Team. And as with each release, visit the TE Blog for a chance to win goodies from March's release by answering Taylor's Question of The Day.

Happy Crafting,

Keia
